To qualify for a Supply Systems Analyst, your resume and supporting documentation must support: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: Monitors, analyzes, and evaluates enterprise-wide implementation of proposals to improve KPls, metrics, and performance critical data. Performs a variety of analytical duties that involve monitoring and reviewing Order Fulfillment process. Establishes and fosters effective relationships with all levels of personnel and maintains open lines of communication with counterparts. Provides Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) and Service Managed Inventory (SMI) support and oversight to include Recruit Training Centers (RTCs). Assists with enterprise resource planning integration and provides accurate supplier operation updates related to VMI/SMI processes. Provides training for end user/resolution specialists with third party logistics sites (3Pls), Recruit Training Centers (RTCs) for VMI/SMI reconciliation processes. Experience supporting Inventory Records Management (IRM) and the Recon process (as a Business Process Analyst) with expert knowledge of root cause for both systematic and manual activities impacting EBS. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Serves as the Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) / Service Managed Inventory (SMI) Sub Process Owner (SPO).
Conducts functional systems analysis, develops documents, and evaluates complex functional system requirements for the Order Fulfillment functional area.
Provides Inventory Reconciliation and Inventory Records Management (IRM) oversight as a Subject Matter Expert (SME). Responsible for data analysis impacting Reconciliation processes.
Develops Order Fulfillment functional requirements in conjunction with appropriate process areas.
Identifies areas for system or process improvements in supporting Enterprise Business System (EBS) end users.
Identifies and develops Order Fulfillment process-specific Key Performance Indicators and metrics.
Serve as an expert analyst and advisor to the Process Owner and other senior agency management on Order Fulfillment functional program and processes.
Aligns with modernization efforts (such as S4 Hana) when developing new or innovative approaches to evaluate the process and explore logistics and system solutions.
