Job Description:

You will serve as a EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY SPECIALIST in the EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OFFICE (SPEEO) of STRATEGIC SYSTEMS PROGRAMS.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-02 (GS-11 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: performing complete Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) cycle of factfinding, problem definition and identification to recommend resolution, develop action plan, or providing advisory services on EEO programs to include reasonable accommodations. You will provide comprehensive counseling to potential EEO complainants including information on the informal and formal discrimination complaints process.
You will process formal complaints in accordance with EEOC (Equal Employment Opportunity Commission).
You will conduct fact finding inquiries to resolve disputes.
You will provide advisory services to management and supervisors.
You will provide advice and guidance to employees, union officials, and agency representatives.
You will seek resolution of complaints through Alternate Dispute Resolution (ADR) techniques including mediation.
You will conduct studies and surveys or developing questionnaires to identify issues or barriers to equal employment opportunity as needed for assigned program.
You will oversee the discrimination complaints tracking program.
You will prepare formal complaint correspondence and meeting activity specific reporting requirements in accordance agency requirements.
You will process reasonable accommodation requests.
