Job Description:
You will serve as a Program Executive Office (PEO) (T) Peculiar Support Equipment (PSE) Division Head (PROGRAM MANAGER) in the Support Equipment Department of NAVAIRWARCENADLKE.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NM-04 (equivalent to the GS-13 level) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Establishing long-term task priorities; determining work procedures and methods; and guiding employees and/or supervisors' work to accomplish operational objectives; 2) Managing a team by assigning and directing work; preparing performance plans and monitoring performance; and identifying and arranging for employee training/development to improve production or increase quality of work directed; 3) Coordinating, integrating and managing engineering, logistics, and other functional specialists to ensure requirements are met with design solutions that are traceable, supportable and affordable; and are the best life cycle support solution; 4) Analyzing large-scale programs to forecast budgets, reduce costs, and advise senior management on resources needed; such as staffing, facility space and equipment; and 5) Providing overall direction and coordination of all facets of a major technological program to manage and resolve a variety of technological and corporate problems. You will lead disparate functional groups (e.g., engineering, logistics, training, testing, production, support) in the development of a program.
You will plan program execution strategies to overcome program challenges (e.g., mitigate cost, schedule, performance risks).
You will identify resource requirements (e.g., funding, manpower, facilities) for life-cycle management of a program.
You will address program problems and issues by applying the techniques of process identification and continuous process improvement.
You will interpret administrative policies, guidelines, management theories, and practices to plan programmatic operations.
You will facilitate meetings with managers to identify program goals, objectives, and tasks.
