Job Description:
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY PROGRAM ANALYST of the NAVY MEDICAL RECORDS ACTIVITY BUMED DET ST LOUIS of BUREAU OF MEDICINE AND SURGERY.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: - Experience managing a medical record activity by executing comprehensive communication and change management plans to ensure continuous process improvement. - Experience managing contracts to include processing invoices, evaluating performance, and generating contract modification change requests. - Experience extracting data in medical record repositories (e.g. Health Artifact Imaging and Management System (HAIMS), Integrated Disability Evaluation System (IDES) and Veterans Administration) - Experience complying with medical records release of information policies (e.g. Health Insurance Portability and Privacy Act (HIPAA), Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and Privacy Act) - Experience supervising internal team and contractors by assigning work, monitoring performance, interviewing, resolving complaints, and increasing productivity. You will deliver change management and communication activities associated with service treatment records (STR) processing.
You will serve as the Contracting Officer Representative for the STR contract.
You will ensure compliance with record retirement policy.
You will develop methods, procedures, and techniques to improve workflow.
You will assign work tasks and evaluate performance of subordinates.
