Job Description:

You will serve as a Management Analyst under Naval Education and Training Command in the Navy Recruiting Command of NVRECRUITNGCMD. Salary: GS-11: $73,939-$96,116 GS-12: $88,621- $115,213
GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Analyzing data from multiple sources; 2) Recommending changes to current manpower and workload trends to improve efficiency; 3) Conducting studies to determine the effectiveness of current processes; and 4) Producing reports that detail the results of analytical studies. GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Conducting management surveys, researching projects and providing advisory services on facilities management processes, functions and organization of the Public Works Department; 2)Establishing and monitoring performance measurement criteria to evaluate financial and business programs for facilities management; 3)Planning, scheduling, and conducting projects to evaluate ways to improve effectiveness and efficiencies of the facilities management functions and processes, and 4)Advising management of department funding principles, regulations, and local policies on budget and financial matters to recommend improvements, changes, and/or new processes and procedures. You will leverage principles, functions and practices of management, to assist in preparing meaningful business recommendations.
You will use theories, principles and practices of the advertising industry, particularly of the production and fulfillment techniques of direct response (lead- generating) advertising, to assist in conducting meaningful analyses.
You will use statistics, statistical analysis methods, other analytical methods and systematic study procedures for determining program effectiveness, to enhance analyses.
You will execute studies/reports in statistical and narrative form to large and varied audiences, to assist in preparing meaningful, effective briefings.
You will present results of analyses, recommendations, and directions, in an effective manner.
