Job Description:

You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst in the Professional Develelopment Division of NAVAL ACADEMY.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Processing orders, vouchers and travel requests, 2) Analyzing data, consolidating issues and proposing resolutions both orally and in writing, 3) Reconciling accounts to minimize overdue balances and incorrect payments, and 4) Interpreting and implementing policies and procedures to ensure organization is operating within the required regulations and guidelines. You will review, plan, analyze and develop travel program requirements in support of Summer Travel and the Commandant Cost Center.
You will create Standard Operating Procedures and business rules consistent with the JTR to support the unique training and execution requirements of staff and Midshipmen involved in travel.
You will serve as the Contracting Officer’s Representative for any DTS contracts supporting the Summer Training Program and will provide oversight to contractors and any uniformed personnel temporarily assigned which directly support Summer Training.
You will oversee the preparation of orders and logistics packets provided to each midshipman.
You will be available outside of normal working hours to deal with emergent midshipman travel issues that often arise due to the global nature of summer cruise travel.
