Job Description:

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-02 pay band (GS-11 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a Professional Engineer utilizing engineering concepts and principles to assess and evaluate engineering systems for the management of Missile, Reentry and Guidance Systems. You will influence, lead, monitor, and approve contractor design and product/quality assurance efforts in satisfying contractual requirements for various subsystems.
You will lead efforts related to the Strategic Weapons Systems (SWS) and missile, reentry and guidance subsystems.
You will monitor and approve efforts dealing with acceptability, utilization and sustainment of hardware, support equipment and software including design and process changes.
You will assure that configuration control of the weapons system is in compliance with the approved Configuration Management processes.
You will implement program policy and engineering criteria and provides information to the prime contractor and Navy field activities.
You will review and disposition discrepant and non-conforming hardware and software which may affect SWS performance.
You will provide technical guidance to DCMA for all phases of SSP programs, assist the DCMA as required and ensure that the DCMA is properly informed and advised on all relevant matters.
