To qualify for a Supervisory Financial Analyst, your resume and supporting documentation must support: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To qualify at the GS-15 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: - Directing or supervising enterprise civilian payroll processing functions - Overseeing a Defense Travel Services program to include management of Defense Travel System; Government Travel Charge Card; Travel Compliance Program; Mass Transit Subsidy and Civilian Permanent Duty Travel - Supporting all aspects of Manage Payroll and Manage Travel testing and validation efforts Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Responsible for the mission and operations of the DLA Payroll and Travel Services within DLA Human Resources Services
Manages and coordinates all of DLA and serviced activities accounting, financial reporting, financial analysis, planning and financial policy compliance functions related to the DLA Hire to Retire (H2R) Business Cycle.
Facilitates the compilation of more efficient and reliable financial information for DLA for all accountable programs under the direction of the organization.
Supervises three division chiefs who each provide complex Enterprise Program Management and administration through subordinate leads and senior level accountants, business analysts, management and program analysts, and payroll systems analysts.
Responsible for enterprise civilian payroll processing to include the oversight of all payroll related transactions and their interfacing applications.
Oversight and program management for multiple travel programs.
