Job Description:

You will serve as a LEAD FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the GENERAL FUND BUSINESS OFFICE DIVISION, FINANCIAL SYSTEMS DEPARTMENT, COMPTROLLER GROUP of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12/13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Demonstrating advanced data analysis and reporting skills, particularly in the context of financial data extraction, trend analysis, and decision-making support. 2) Familiarity with auditing standards and compliance regulations relevant to financial management and DoN-specific operations. 3) Demonstrating leadership abilities, including team-building, providing technical direction, and managing personnel. 4) Understanding of applicable policies, laws, and regulations regarding financial operations, both at the Command and DoN levels. 5) Problem-solving and decision-making skills in complex environments, especially when working to meet stringent deadlines. 6) Adaptability to evolving business requirements and technological advancements in financial management and system tools. You will advise management and colleagues on difficult problems, conduct special studies, propose options and alternatives, and represent the supported commands.
You will manage project/program requirements, objectives, and metrics; and resolve conflicts among schedules, funding, and resources.
You will resolve critical problems or issues related to the financial management system and coordinate major financial management system functions within the supported commands.
You will serve as a Team Lead and Senior SME representative providing financial system support.
You will provide technical expertise and recommendations in coordination with Business Process Team Leads to optimize the Command’s access to and use of the financial system of record.
You will provide technical direction and leadership for the identification, design/development and integration of enhancements to the existing financial solution.
