You will serve as a Small Business Specialist in the Small Business Director of MARCORSYSCOM.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or NH -03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Leading AND/OR overseeing small business programs by guiding contract strategies, evaluating compliance, advising leadership, managing staff, AND/OR leading outreach to ensure fair business participation and alignment with organizational goals. You will maintain technical competency by staying informed about the latest developments in your field.
You will plan, direct, and coordinate procurement and contractual actions for advanced system acquisitions.
You will develop and execute outreach strategies to improve customer understanding of Command programs.
You will evaluate program objectives to ensure alignment with Marine Corps and Department of the Navy requirements.
You will represent the Command on high-level boards and committees, liaising with defense organizations.
You will assist program managers early in acquisition cycles to support market research and acquisition strategies.
You will monitor contractor compliance with subcontracting plans and report performance issues promptly.
