Job Description:
You will serve as a REALTY SPECIALIST in the MARINE CORPS INSTALLATIONS COMMAND of MARCORPS NATIONAL CAPITAL REGION.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience managing, or coordinating with, higher headquarters activities such as developing goals and strategic plans; ensuring subordinates meet organizational objectives in assigned areas of Facility Maintenance, Facility Operations, Facility Services, Facility Related Controls Systems, Utilities, Energy; performing supervisory and management responsibilities of employees and programs covering a wide variety of professional, administrative, technical, trades and crafts work, as well as several engineering disciplines. You will provide technical expertise, oversight, and guidance Marine Corps-wide on execution and management of all Marine Corps real estate acquisitions, management and disposals.
You will develop a coordinated Marine Corps-wide program for real property actions which addresses requirements, planning and proposed action across command lines.
You will represent the Marine Corps as the Real Estate program technical expert on cross functional, intergovernmental, inter-agency, and inter-service teams that establish real property standards and policy.
You will review, analyze and edit drafts and final master plans, environmental baseline studies, environmental documentation, military construction project documentation, land use plans, land utilization studies, and nonrecurring special studies.
You will coordinate, monitors and analyzes new or revised legislation, policy, procedures, executive orders, and DOD/SECNAV directives concerning real property matters
