Job Description:
You will serve as a CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER ASSISTANT DIRECTOR in the CHILDREN AND YOUTH PROGRAMS DIVISION of MARINE CORPS BASE.
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Assisting with administering child development programs and services that meet the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical needs of children ages six weeks until commencing kindergarten. You will provide input and assistance to the Child Development Center (CDC) Director in the management of all aspects of a highly diversified CDC.
You will provide input regarding proposed Appropriated Fund budget requirements to the CDC Director.
You will ensure specific requirements for all special needs children enrolled in the CDC are met.
You will conduct a property management program for nonexpendable equipment in compliance with local directives and act as Responsible Officer for designated property accounts.
You will ensure accountability for the change fund, daily receipts and patron ledger accounts, and ensure all daily operations and record keeping are in compliance with established standard operating procedures and current directives.
You will plan and organize work and manage positions to ensure maximum productivity.
You will serve as acting Child Development Center Director in absence of the assigned Center Director.
