Job Description:

You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the PLANNING & INVENTORY DIVISION (E81), SENSORS WEAPONS & LAUNCHERS DEPARTMENT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER, Seal Beach, CA detachment.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-03 (GS-09/10 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing logistics management operations that involve planning and coordinating the acquisition of materials and critical parts to ensure operational readiness for shipboard weapons and Surface Launched Missile (SLM) programs. You will play a vital role in supporting the operational readiness of Navy weapons and Surface Launched Missile (SLM) production shops.
You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing procurement activities.
You will translate mission or maintenance requirements into detailed procurement actions, draft purchase descriptions, conduct market research, and ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS).
You will collaborate with technical, production, and financial personnel to align procurement timelines with program schedules, ensuring the seamless operation of mission-critical systems.
You will manage inventory to ensure the availability, accuracy, and accountability of critical materials and parts.
You will utilize Navy logistics systems such as Navy ERP, One Touch, and other supply tools.
You will ensure compliance with Navy logistics policies and financial accountability standards.
