Job Description:

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the ADMINISTRATIVE DIVISION/ FINANCE BRANCH of PROGRAM MANAGEMENT OFFICE SSP. The Secretary of Defense has ordered a department-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the DoD hiring freeze. Offers of employment related to this vacancy announcement will not be executed until the position has an approved exemption.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-02 (GS-11) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Reviewing and monitoring budgets preparation and execution; generating status reports and conducting requirements and execution analysis. You will review and interpret new and established directives, instructions, regulations, etc. and delegations of authority for potential impact on major program objectives, operating policies, work operations, and progress.
You will perform or advise on work in any of the phases or systems of budget administration.
You will furnish advisory service on ongoing financial programs to financial personnel and Comptroller.
You will provide input to proposed policy changes issued by higher authority.
You will plan work, set priorities and schedule work as necessary to assure effective and expeditious accomplishment of priority work.
