Job Description:

You will serve as a READINESS AND INVESTIGATIVE SPECIALIST in the COMMAND INSPECTOR of MARINE CORPS AIR GROUND COMBAT CTR.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: applying a wide range of complex inspections, investigations, enforcement, and/or compliance principles, concepts, practices AND analyzing facts, drawing conclusions and problem solving. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
You will identify issues dealing with a broad range of functional areas unique to the Commanding General Inspection Program (CGIP).
You will assist the Deputy and Command Inspector General (CIG) ensuring adequacy and clarity of all formal inspection reports and findings.
You will provide clear, concise, accurate, unbiased inspection reports and provide recommendations for staff assist visits, and/or follow up on re-inspections to the Command Inspector General (CIG).
You will conduct investigations and identify violations of federal, military, or civil laws, regulations, or policies and determine situations or conditions which require investigation.
You will serve as the Historian, Internal Management Control Representative, Safety Council Representative, and as alternate on the Armed Forced Disciplinary Control Board.
You will ensure investigations are conducted according to directives, laws, and that the integrity and validity of the investigation are legally and procedurally correct.
