About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the US Army INSCOM, Assistant Chief of Staff, G4 at Fort Belvoir, Virginia.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one (1) year of experience equivalent to at least the GG-14 grade level in the Federal service which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as managing an integrated logistics support program for intelligence systems, developing logistics plans and policies to support operational requirements, AND providing technical guidance and oversight to other senior logistics personnel or project teams. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level in the federal service (GG/GS-14). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Planning Manpower & Personnel Program Management Stakeholder Management
Serve as a Division Chief for complex projects which are of prime importance to the Army mission.
Plan, organize, direct, and coordinate the work efforts of personnel engaged in the performance of assigned missions / related functions of the division.
Direct the accomplishment of high visibility programs.
Formulate policies for general operation of the office, insures execution of orders and instructions.
