Job Description:

You will serve as a MILITARY PERSONNEL AND ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST in the Office of the Commander of NAVAL FACILITIES ENG SYSTEMS COMMAND PAC. A Cost-of-Living-Allowance (COLA) of 8.64% will be added to the stated salary.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector 1) Performing duties as the senior military program specialist for officers and enlisted personnel on all DOD, DON, Joint Travel Regulations, and Financial Management Regulation-wide programs on issues related to military pay, personnel transactions and changes to personnel policies and procedures; 2) Processing, monitoring, and supporting military personnel programs consisting of command pay and personnel administration, and command leave administration; 3) Providing technical advice and assisting in the planning, decision process, and assists in creating military officer and enlisted community workforce support strategies; 4) Researching and developing statistical information for analyses relating to military manpower strength for use in developing recommendations for improved operations or action processing. You will serve as Senior Command Pay and Personnel Administrator (CPPA) and Command Leave Administrator (CLA) for approximately 470 officers and enlisted personnel.
You will plan, organize and coordinate personnel support affecting all military personnel.
You will provide guidance to command personnel on changes to Navy pay and personnel policies and procedures.
You will provide technical advice and assists in the planning, decision process, and assists in creating military officer and enlisted community workforce support strategies.
You will serve as representative for military personnel strength management and administration issues for all military personnel assigned to the command.
You will operate computers and copying machines, writes official letters and reports, maintains all enlisted and officer electronic service records, in accordance with all directives, and Navy filing system.
You will identify and address military pay issues which may require extensive research and coordination with appropriate centers.
