Job Description:
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the LOGISTICS DEPARTMENT of NAVCONSTTRGCEN GULFPORT MS.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying federal procurement methods, guidelines and procedures to obtain supplies, equipment and services; 2) Managing or performing functions to execute purchases utilizing the Government Commercial Purchase Card (GCPC) program; 3) Coordinating the preparation of contract support documents for acquisitions; and 4) Conducting market research of federal supply sources (GSA, FedMall, MILSTRIP, prime vendors, etc.) to locate required items and vendors. You will serve as the Logistics Department Head performing audits, record reviews, inventories, logistics data analysis, Cost Benefit Analysis (CGA), Return on Investment (ROI) and Business Case Analysis (BCA).
You will serve as the Training Platform Manager (TPM) responsible for material readiness that includes Resource Requirements List, vehicles, Classroom/laboratory/material handling/civil engineer support/office equipment and furnishing.
You will apply knowledge as a Program Coordinator or Approving Official in a Government Commercial Purchase Card (GCPC) program to navigate and interpret reports within the CitiDirect Electronic Access System (EAS) and Program Audit Tool (PAT).
You will have oversight of property management and the management of the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) to maintain accountability of government owned property.
You will serve as the equipment management liaison to ensure efficient, safe operation and maintenance of assigned equipment, which includes automotive, support equipment and weight handling equipment (WHE).
You will serve as facilities liaison responsible for coordinating construction, facility repair/maintenance, monitoring utility systems, contracted services for grounds maintenance and building custodial services.
You will provide direct technical and administrative supervision and management for personnel assigning work, verifying progress, providing training, establishing performance standards, and initiating promotions, reassignments and awards.
