Job Description:

Executive Suite, Office of Executive Services. The selectee of this position serves as an Administrative Officer. You will be responsible for providing advice and assistance to management on financial management, procurement, property management, and travel regulations; analyzing existing procedures to identify more efficient and effective methods for accomplishing program objectives.
GS-13 TIME IN GRADE REQUIREMENTS: Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-12 grade level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-13 grade level. (Must submit your SF-50 that shows Time-in-Grade eligibility and reflects your title, series, and grade. No award SF-50 will be accepted). You may qualify at the GS-0341-13 level, if you fulfill one of the following qualifications: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Analyzing financial operations for an organization; 2) Utilizing a financial management system such as Unified Financial Management System (UFMS), E2 Solutions (Travel), etc. to perform a variety of financial functions such as projecting budgets, processing obligations etc.; AND 3) Collaborating with a variety of internal and external stakeholders on administrative activities (i.e., property management, personnel actions, procurement, renovation projects, etc. IN DESCRIBING YOUR EXPERIENCE, PLEASE BE CLEAR AND SPECIFIC. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
As an Administrative Officer at the GS-0341-13 level, some of your typical work assignments may include: Assists program managers in projecting funding/manpower staffing requirements and developing budget requests and related supporting documentation for budget submissions. Reviews, analyzes, and recommends actions related to the execution of approved program budgets. Assists program managers with acquisition planning, market research, defining requirements, proposal evaluation, inspection and acceptance of service, evaluation of contract, contract reporting, and contract closeout. Serves as an Accountable Officer for the Executive Offices funded travel. Responsible for the oversight and administration of physical and accountable property for the executive offices.
