Specialized experience is defined as: (1) Conducting advanced techniques to develop new methodologies to determine the best process alternatives to current and future operations in support of officer accession programs, practices, and policies; (2) Conducting a wide range of operations research with systems analysis methodologies applied to military accessions-related problems; (3) Performing quantitative/qualitative research analysis to recommend solutions; (4) Performing work which involves the use of theories, principles and practices common to mathematics, statistics, system analysis and or/ operations research techniques to solve complex problems. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). Responsible for developing statistical analysis for the agency ROTC officer accession program.
Use advanced mathematical and computer techniques to solve complex accessions, production, and projection problems for the organization.
Keep abreast of current developments in operations research/systems analysis techniques, modeling and simulation techniques, graphics, and computer technology.
Establish liaison relationships with counterparts in other organizations and other headquarters who have an interest in studies and analyses.
