Opportunity
The Vice President, Talent is a critical leadership role responsible for architecting and developing a talent strategy for Kohler that fuels business performance and elevates the associate experience across a global enterprise. As a direct report to the CHRO and a key member of the HR leadership team, this role partners closely with the CEO, Executive leadership team, and Board of Directors on the company’s most vital people priorities. The VP-Talent must be a bold, business-minded leader with a passion for talent development, leadership growth, and enterprise impact.
The role leads enterprise Talent Management, Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition, and Early Career Programs – ensuring an integrated approach that meets today’s needs while building capability for tomorrow. This leader drives business-relevant, globally scalable solutions rooted in deep understanding of the company’s strategy, values and people.
Responsibilities
Enterprise Talent Strategy & Leadership
Lead the global enterprise talent agenda aligned to business strategy and the evolving needs of the company.Drive talent reviews, succession planning, and talent movement to ensure strong leadership pipelines and workforce agility.Guide the evolution of performance management into a culture-enabling, growth-focused process that is simple and effective.Oversee the use of assessments to inform leadership development, hiring and succession decisions at all levels.
Leadership Development & Learning
Design and deliver a strategic, scalable approach to leadership development efforts with a focus on practical, high impact learning that supports readiness and capability-building.Lead enterprise Learning & Development efforts with a focus on practical, high-impact learning that supports readiness and capability-building for the front-line associates through executive leadership.Foster a culture of feedback, coaching, and continuous growth across the enterprise.
Talent Acquisition & Early Career
Lead global talent acquisition strategies to meet current and future capability needs, with a focus on executive recruitment, internal mobility and overall hiring including manufacturing and hospitality operations.Strengthen early career programming as key leadership and capability pipelines. Champion employer branding and candidate experience as a competitive advantage.
Engagement & Culture
Oversee the global engagement survey and action planning, ensuring data translates to real change and improved experience.Serve as the champion of the associate experience – ensuring talent strategies are grounded in the voice and needs of the workforce. Partner closely with HR business partners and business leaders to embed values-driven leadership, inclusion, and cultural alignment in all talent processes. Executive InfluenceService as a though partner with the CEO, CHRO and executive team on talent strategy, culture and leadership priorities in a high co-creation environment.Engage with the Board of Directors on talent pipeline, succession readiness, and key leadership investments. Operate with an enterprise mindset, influencing beyond the function and driving impact at the highest levels of the organization
