Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes : preparing complete, complex Advanced Modeling (AdM) drawings; reviewing engineering drawings prepared by others, developing layouts for a variety of projects, implementing appropriate engineering selections/adaptations from AdM databases; and developing and maintaining AdM Project Execution Plans, procedures, and standard operational workflows. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
Review contracted design and construction submittals to ensure compliance with the USACE Advanced Modeling standard (AdM).
Make modifications to civil features where overall design is responsibility of engineer.
Utilize software-related systems to provide technical design assistance, construction plans, and other engineering products and support to architects and engineers.
Develop and maintain AdM Project Execution Plans, procedures, and standard operational workflows.
