Participants in Kohler’s Digital Leadership Development
Program (DLDP) gain a broad understanding of Kohler’s Digital landscape through
hands-on, in-depth, and meaningful assignments. In addition to developing
business acumen, self-awareness, and functional experience, associates have the
freedom to explore their long-term career interests and aspirations.
Program Details
The DLDP is a 24-month program that includes 4 rotations, each 6 months in
length. Rotational assignments occur throughout Kohler Digital and will
geographically take place in Kohler, WI. The DLDP will interact regularly with
their program manager, assignment leader, and mentor to promote ongoing
development and communication. During the final rotation, efforts will be made to
align DLDPs' interests and skills with business needs. After finishing the
24-month experience and accepting a permanent position, the program is
considered complete.
High-level Overview of Rotational Assignments:
Cloud & Infrastructure Engineering – Gain hands-on experience in computing, storage, networking, and cloud infrastructures, and contribute to team goals.Cyber Security – Get hands-on with governance, perimeter defense, authentication, and threat management within cybersecurity operations.Data Engineering & AI – Turn raw data into usable insights with data engineering and AI tools, using modern ingestion and modeling methods to address business needs.DevOps & Software Development – Learn DevSecOps basics, secure development, and collaborate in cross-functional teams using CI/CD, IaC, and release management.Digital Project Management – Support digital product growth by researching opportunities, defining customer-focused requirements, and tracking execution.Digital Workplace – Explore Kohler Digital’s units, building skills in cloud, low-code, license management, AI productivity, and M365 Cloud Administration.Enterprise Platforms – Understand enterprise functions, project management, and problem-solving while strengthening analysis, communication, and networking skills.Project Management (Agile & Waterfall) – Spot delivery challenges, work with teams to improve processes, and measure results with targeted reporting.Security, Privacy & Compliance – Work on projects and skill-building in cybersecurity, identify a focus area, and create a personalized growth plan.Supply Chain & Operations – Deliver end-to-end solutions with business analysis, documentation, QA, system configuration, project governance, and collaborative development.
