Job Description:
You will serve as a HEALTH SYSTEMS SPECIALIST in the Force Medical Readiness (N10D), Family Readiness Department of BUREAU OF MEDICINE AND SURGERY.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience assisting in the medical and educational needs of military family members. Experience interpreting legislative laws and policies relating to the DoD and DHA. Experience monitoring and evaluating the efficiency and effectiveness of Readiness programs such as OSS/FMTS, EFMP, EDIS, and INCAP. Experience with project management methods and techniques to ensure effective program operations. Experience presenting briefings and conducting workshops and trainings. Experience researching complex material and assisting with the preparation of written material such as letters, memoranda, policy and guidance, and reports. You will serve as the Deputy Family Readiness Program Manager, Exceptional Family Member Program Analyst, Subject Matter Expert (SME) and liaison to the Defense Heath Agency (DHA).
You will maintain a comprehensive working knowledge of current legislative developments, philosophies and trends pertaining to EFMP.
You will collect and analyzes EFMP data for the Navy Medicine EFMP program planning and assessment.
You will utilize the Navy Family Accountability and Assessment System (NFAAS) to support key personnel and analyze headquarter level reports.
You will track, review, and analysis reports of problematic assignments from Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Commands (NMRTCs) and DoDEA.
You will maintain a comprehensive working knowledge of current legislative developments, treatment options, and philosophies and trends pertaining to early intervention and special education.
You will utilize the WebWave to process INCAP enrollment requests and analyze headquarter level reports.
