About the position: This position will be assigned to the Eglin Benz Lake Marina. This is a NAF (Non-Appropriated Fund) position assigned to the 96th Force Support Squadron at Eglin AFB Florida. Position is Regular Part-time (RPT) guaranteed 20-34 hours per week and schedule tour of duty may include nights, weekends and holidays. RPT employees are eligibles (Health/Dental Insurance; Life Insurance; 401K & AFNAF Retirement Plan with Employer matching contribution; PTO/SL/Holidays).

Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Applicant must have experience which provided a working familiarity with the routines and procedures followed in group activities or programs; and practical knowledge and/or experience of recreational activities and equipment, rules and procedures in a recreation program activity which has involved recreation work in the area of specialty in which the position is assigned. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a Tier 1 background investigation.
Performs and/or assists in operation and maintenance of recreational facilities . Follows schedules of events as well as the rules and regulations to be observed. Types of duties include, but are not limited to, the following: Tests water-skiing and boating equipment for safe operation; demonstrates safety and conservation techniques for campsites, water sports and beach areas,; demonstrates equipment and techniques of various outdoor activities such as camping, swimming, and boating;; inspects outdoor recreation facilities and equipment for security and general conditions; and schedules campsites, cabins, boats, and other outdoor recreation equipment and areas for use, with responsibility for seeing that they are vacated or returned in good order. Collects use fees, receives funds from resale operations, performs inventory and cash handling duties in accordance with established cash handling and accountability procedures.
