This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies through the DHA for Domestic Industrial Base Facilities & Major Range & Test Facilities in the DoD. The Screen-out Element for this position is: I have the ability to perform the duties of a Fuel Distribution System Worker as demonstrated by experience working under normal supervision operating gasoline or diesel-powered vehicles; delivering oil to government facilities and ships; transferring fuel or other petroleum products from storage to trucks, ships, aircrafts, and/or vehicles; and measuring the fuel quantities received, sold, stored, and transferred to fuel related equipment such as tanks, trucks, or ships. You will operate pumps and valves to load tank trucks with bulk lube oil, filling to markers or amounts required from verbal or written instructions.
You will delivery oil to government facilities and ships located at the Fuel Department.
You will perform general preventative and breakdown Maintenace, such as painting, housekeeping, of grounds, cleaning valve vaults, sumps, and other such duties as assigned.
You will operate gasoline or diesel-powered vehicles with gross vehicle weight of 33,000 pounds transporting fuel throughout the facility and authorized customers. May operate other vehicles, such as vacuum trucks, and runway sweepers.
You will load and unload commercial and government owned tanker trucks with diesel, jet fuel, lube oil, and fuel oil reclaim.
