We are the Operational Intelligence Development Team, a collaborative elite group of passionate and talented developers. We provide business-focused and operations-focused real-time metrics through different delivery mechanisms (email, portal, etc.) to our users. Our users include production support teams, executives, client-facing employees, and application teams. We embrace AGILE methodology and Open Source technologies. Quality of the data, we provide, is utmost important. Our technology stack includes Java, SPRING framework, Apache Camel (EIP), document oriented DB(MongoDB), Messaging queue (JMS based Apache Kafka), Rich-UI based JavaScript frameworks, Server Technologies (Apache Web Server JBOSS Application Server) and Relational Database products (Oracle SQL Server). We collect data in near real time and batch from well over a dozen data sources. We apply statistics and provide metrics in near real time to our users.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to incidents, diagnose problems, and implement fixes to minimize downtime and ensure system stability.
Managing Release and Deployment processes, ensuring the deployments are safe, reliable and do not disrupt services once it is released.
Work closely with development and production support teams to understand their needs, improve the developer/release experience, and ensure smooth releases.
Define and monitor Service Level Objectives (SLOs) to ensure systems meet performance and reliability requirements.
Analyze system usage patterns and capacity requirements to ensure systems can handle traffic and workloads.
Designs, implements, and maintains tools and process for Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD).
Be well versed with Bitbucket flow and version control system, pull requests and other version control related concepts.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, JFrog, Ansible Tower, Datical/Liquibase, SonarQube, Artifactory, XLR.
Knowledgeable of Application Development Security Framework and Vulnerability remediation.
Collaborate with vendor partners/programmers to coordinate delivery of software application.
Able to work with Java/Python programming language.
Be self-motivated, goal oriented with a high degree of accountability.
