Job Description:

You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the NAVAL UNDERSEA WARFARE CENTER DIVISION of NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA. The President has ordered a government-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the hiring freeze. Although we are moving forward with the consideration of candidates, we will not make a selection for this vacancy announcement unless and until the position is no longer subject to the hiring freeze.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a logistics management specialist managing material availability, forecasting needs, initiating procurement, and administering funds for the supply and maintenance of critical weapons systems. You will oversee supply and logistics requirements for lightweight Torpedo programs.
You will manage material availability, forecasting needs, procurements, and funds administration for the repair and maintenance of critical weapons systems.
You will coordinate data and develop contracts to support workload demands, resolve engineering assistance requests, and contribute to planning documents.
You will directly support operational readiness of Naval Fleet Operations by providing effective Integrated Logistics Support (ILS).
You will perform functions of team leader.
You will provide budget justification submittals, correspondence, and briefings.
You will provide input and/or review planning documents such as Technical Data Plans relevant to ILS efforts.
