Job Description:
You will serve as an Installation Environmental Program Manager, reporting to the Public Works Officer (PWO) in the NAVAL FACILITIES ENG COMMAND HAWAII.
In addition to the Basic Education Requirements for this position, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Leading an interdisciplinary staff in the planning, direction, and management of environmental compliance, planning, and conservation programs for an organization; 2) Reviewing project proposals in accordance with National Environmental Policy Act and other environmental requirements to ensure regulatory compliance; 3) Assuring sound stewardship of natural, cultural, and historic resources; 4) Managing environmental compliance permits; 5) Coordinating with counterparts internally and externally to an organization; and 6) Setting team priorities and communicating priorities short and long term objectives to senior leadership.
