Job Description:
You will serve as a NATURAL RESOURCES MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Natural Resources of NAVAL FACILITIES ENG COMMAND HAWAII. A Cost-of-Living-Allowance (COLA) of 8.64% will be added to the stated salary.
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector preparing, designing and coordinating plans for the management, preservation, and protection of the zoological and biological resources, sensitive habitats, and rare or protected species. You will prepare and present briefs to senior-level officials in federal, state and local government as well as the public, on a routine basis.
You will provide natural resources management consultation services, professional guidance and general assistance.
You will determine whether work should be performed inhouse or contracted and ensure contractor schedules are integrated with program requirements.
You will manage complex contracts for natural resources management.
You will serve as the Contracting Officer's Technical Representative (COTR) on contract to ensure preparation of technically adequate, timely and cost-effective planning products.
