This position is located at ID-Readiness Support Office, Fort Bragg, NC Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are authorized. Relocation incentive in the amount of $10,000 may be authorized with a two-year agreement. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Applicant must provide evidence of progressively responsible leadership experience that is indicative of experience at the NF-5 level (or APF equivalent, GS-13-15); local government, the private sector, or nongovernmental organizations. TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS: Demonstrated experience that reflects leadership skill and ability to lead other senior managers responsible for the management of multi-functional service organizations with unique complex business operations, increasing efficiency, developing and implementing internal policies and strategic direction focused on improving mission objectives and business. Knowledge of strategic planning, performance management, budgeting, fiscal oversight, project and program management, and facilities management. Ability to develop and implement an organizational vision, which integrates key national and program goals, priorities, values, and other factors. Ability to balance change and continuity to continually strive to improve customer service and program performance within the basic Government framework, to create a work environment that encourages creative thinking, and maintains focus, intensity, and persistence, even under adversity. Ability to design and implement strategies which maximize employee potential and foster high ethical standards in meeting the organization's vision, mission, and goals. Ability to make timely and effective decisions and produce results through strategic planning and the implementation and evaluation of programs and policies. Ability to acquire and administer human, financial, material, and information resources in a manner which instills public trust and accomplishes the organization's mission, as well as to use new technology to enhance decision making. Ability to explain, advocate, and express facts and ideas in a convincing manner, negotiation with individuals and groups internally and externally. This skill also involves the ability to develop an expansive professional network with other organizations, and to identify the internal and external politics that affect the work of the organization.
Serves as the IMCOM Directorate, Chief, MWR Business and Recreation Programs with direct leadership for all Business and Recreation Programs with responsibility for planning, directing, coordinating, and managing across IMCOM Directorate.
Provides technical, administrative and managerial direction, guidance, and assistance to division staff to assist in fulfilling his/her responsibilities.
Delegates authority to subordinate supervisors and holds them accountable for the performance of their branch.
Performs other duties as assigned.
