To qualify for an IT Specialist (INFOSEC), your resume and supporting documentation must support: A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in, or related to, this position. To qualify for the NH-04 level, specialized experience must be at the NH-03 or GS-13 grade level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: A comprehensive understanding of the development of acquisition requirements packages and the subsequent steps to award, which encompass the development of Performance Work Statements (PWS), Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs), and other necessary documentation. Consultant and cybersecurity expert in the formulation of cybersecurity acquisition packages Manages communications between the government functional managers, contractor, and Contracting Officer, and possesses extensive knowledge as a Cybersecurity Services Contractor Program Manager. Familiar with the process of monitoring the progress of contractors in meeting contractual obligations and reporting the results to the COR. AND For all positions individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below. Support and provide technical advice and oversight of DCMA cyber workforce management initiatives which include cyber education, training, and awareness.
Ensure the Cybersecurity workforce meets the minimum DoD Baseline, functional area commercial certification(s) and sustainment requirements.
Cyber Workforce improvement (via DoD 8570 and DoD 8140 programs) through both direct task support and/or oversight on contract labor support for related task areas.
Continually monitor and have ongoing awareness of information security, vulnerabilities, and threats to support organizational risk management decisions.
Collect and provide data from DOD CIO Cyber Workforce metrics to ensure agency compliance.
Provide oversight of Agency cyber sustainment programs and initiatives which include cyber policy interpretation, development and compliance.
