This position is located at Hooper Bowling Center - Fort Campbell, KY. The Area of Consideration for this vacancy announcement is Fort Campbell and surrounding areas. (Military Spouse Preference (MSP) and Involuntary Separated Military Preference (ISMP) eligible candidates are included in the area of consideration.) This is a "Flexible" position (0-40 hours) with no eligibility to participate in the NAF Employee Benefits Plans.
Qualification Requirements are: 1. Meet state/local age requirements for the serving of alcoholic at the time of appointment. 2. Be able to lift and carry weights up to 20 pounds. 3. Possess math skills necessary to calculate patron bills and take inventory. 4. Skill in mixing and serving alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages. Highly Qualified candidates will have the following: Possess at least 1 year of bartending experience Possess an ABC (Department of Alcohol Beverage Control) license **Applicants that meet the Highly Preferred criteria will be referred to management for consideration first. All others will be referred if management does not make a selection from the Highly Preferred list** PLEASE NOTE: Your resume must reflect the qualifications stated in the announcement and questionnaire to be rated eligible.
Sets up bars for operation, obtains cash bank and stocks service bar.
Assures an adequate stock level is maintained, sets up storeroom and work area to permit easy access to stock items.
Skill in mixing drinks using alcoholic beverages, beer and soda. Prepares a limited variety of simple alcoholic beverages as requested by patrons and wait staff. Ability to recognize intoxicated and unruly patrons.
Applies simple arithmetic in calculating bills and making change. Ability to recognize intoxicated and unruly patrons.
Records sales and makes change or prepares charge slips. Performs other duties as assigned.
