About the Position: This Supervisory Contract Support Specialist position is located at US Army Test & Evaluation CMD, WSMR Commanding General, G8 Resource Management Directorate, Procurement & Accounting Division, Procurement & Contracts Branch, White Sands Missile Range, NM. The Range provides Army, Navy, Air Force, DoD, and other customers with high quality services for experimentation, test, research, assessment, development, and training in support of the Nation. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes (1) experience planning and conducting pre-award and/or post-award procurement actions; (2) experience advising on and preparing documents for contract modifications; (3) experience working procurements in an RDT&E environment; and (4) experience managing and executing procurement activities using the Government Purchase Card. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (NH-02/GS-11). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Contracting/Procurement Financial Management Planning and Evaluating Written Communication
Plan programs and prioritizes subordinate work requirements.
Serve as the primary point of contact (POC) for providing information and responding to inquiries from higher headquarters and the Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC).
Develop acquisition packages in support of a variety of high-dollar, complex services, construction and supply contracts.
Manage and execute the US Army Test and Evaluation Command Government Purchase Card (GPC) program.
Develop the independent government estimates for complex service requirements.
Provide rationale for acquisition approach IAW applicable statutes, regulations and policies.
