Job Description:
You will serve as a ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST in the Administrative Support Office of NAVY PERSONNEL COMMAND.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: specialized experience. Examples of 1) Drafts reviews, revises and implements administrative instructions, policy guidance/procedures, explanatory memoranda and other instruction references; 2) Schedules appointments; maintains the calendar of meetings, and receives visitors and incoming telephone calls; 3) Establishes and maintains subject matter files, records, publications and other pertinent documentation are established, maintained and disposed of in compliance with current regulations; 4) Serves as the Defense Travel System (DTS) subject matter expert and accountable official.. You will develop information papers, briefings, or testimony on readiness issues.
You will coordinate travel management policy and administrative guidelines for processing travel actions.
You will maintain a status tracking system of organizational workload to manage work commitments.
You will advise personnel on alternative approaches to solve customer issues.
