Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) analyzing and resolving technical or policy issues in privacy, records, or information management programs; 2) implementing policies to ensure compliance with federal records, privacy, and information management requirements; and 3) managing records-related resources (e.g. document processing systems, reporting tools, and policy implementation plans). This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Analytical Thinking Communications Policy and Compliance Technical Competence Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
Responsible for the administration, policy development and conduct of the Records Management (RM), Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), Privacy Act (PA), Information Management Control (IMC), and Publications and Forms programs.
Provide direction, control, staff supervision, and policy guidance to FOIA, PA, RM, IMC, and publications and forms.
Analyze work processes, methodologies and techniques used by USARPAC records management and provide recommendations for improvement.
Review Congressional legislation and policy, direction and guidance to determine the impact and implications for USARPAC.
Respond to information requests which often require special attention to sensitivities surrounding certain programs and situation-special issues.
