This position is part of the Defense Security Cooperation Agency. The incumbent will be responsible for developing and coordinating policy and compliance activities across agencies and MILDEPs to effectively develop and operate IT systems that are critical to DSCA's SC mission..
You may qualify at the GS-14, if you fulfill the following qualifications: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service: Developing and coordinating IT policy and compliance activities across agencies and MILDEPs to effectively develop and operate IT systems within the Security Cooperation (SC) or Security Assistance (SA) enterprise Developing and maintaining business systems and information processes to support SC or SA enterprise mission needs Developing information technology (IT) rules and requirements that describe baseline and target architectures For all positions individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below. The employing agency is responsible for identifying the specific level of proficiency required for each competency at each grade level based on the requirements of the position being filled. As a Supervisory IT Specialist (PLCYPLN/CUSTSPT) at the GS-2210-14 some of your typical work assignments may include: Provides expertise in preparing economic analysis, technical specifications, benchmark specification and audit/verification procedures required in support of Information Systems and communication acquisitions. Develops and maintains business systems and information processes to support enterprise mission needs; develops information technology (IT) rules and requirements that describe baseline and target architectures. Facilitates business process reviews and standardization/re-engineering reviews prior to the development or enhancement of supporting information systems, as required by the Information Technology Management Reform Act of 1996 Develops and coordinates policy and compliance activities across agencies and MILDEPs to effectively develop and operate IT systems that are critical to DSCA's SC mission.
