Job Description:

You will serve as a Management and Program Analyst of NAVSUP FLT LOGISTICS CNTR PUGET SOUND.
GS-11 I have one year of specialized experience performing management and Program Analyst work equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent management/ program analysis experience in the private or public sector applying a standardized knowledge management principles, policies, and procedures and a thorough knowledge of provides administrative, financial, personnel, facilities, and Information Technology support regulations, polices, and procedures in facilitating Continuous Performance Improvement of functional areas across the command. I assist in analyzing and conducting research and provide advice on how to make the program more effective. Examples of specialized experience may include: 1) Knowledge of the DOD supply system, NAVSUP FLCPS Products and Services in order to conduct analysis functions that are under study or respond to data requests; 2) experience with MS Office applications and web-based applications in order to prepare briefs and presentations, and to collect and analyze data; 3) Conducting internal audits and analyze results, and answer external audit findings and take appropriate actions; 4) Provide reports with findings and provide recommendations to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the products and services; and 5) Use analytic and evaluative methods and techniques to identify and appropriately align command efforts to products and services. GS-09 I have one year of specialized experience performing Management and Program Analyst work equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-07) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent management/program analysis experience in the private or public sector applying a standardized knowledge management principles, policies, and procedures and analytical and evaluative methods and techniques for the identification, consideration and resolution of operational and or administrative practices and procedures. I use analytic and evaluative methods and techniques to assist in identifying and appropriately aligning command efforts to supply programs products and services to ensure effectiveness and efficiency of operations. Examples of specialized experience may include; 1) researching and investigating new or improved business and management practices for application to agency programs or operations; 2) analyzing and evaluating agency functions and activities being considered for conversion to contract operations;3) Knowledge of administrative regulations and operating procedures plus skill in applying fact-finding and investigative techniques; 4) reviewing administrative audit and investigative reports to determine appropriate changes or corrective action required; AND 5) experience analyzing and evaluating the effectiveness of line program operations in meeting established goals and objectives. You will be responsible for planning and facilitating continuous Performance Improvement events and projects as well as tracking event/project status, collecting data, observing work processes and space and equipment utilization
You will provide support on administrative systems to provide records, forms, files, and documentations
You will analyze management information requirements to develop program or administrative reporting systems including the systems specifications, data gathering and analytical techniques, and systems evaluation methodology
You will be responsible for administrative and development of knowledge management tools such as Share Point Online
