Job Description:
The Global Tax Intercompany Manager is a hybrid role supporting tax initiatives across intercompany accounting and system processes. This role offers broad exposure through organizing and preparing intercompany data for leadership in controllership, area tax, and external advisory teams. It also supports the financial aspects of end-to-end implementation and ongoing support of complex technical solutions tailored for Accenture, including requirements gathering, solution design and testing, training delivery, and post-launch support.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to questions regarding intercompany billing, invoicing, settlement, and related taxes through internal and external research.
Work with intercompany lead to continuously improve existing Intercompany systems, processes, and internal controls
Collaborate with controllership and area tax leads to provide intercompany information in useful formats for audits, local country tax compliance, transfer pricing analysis and other special requests
Assist in defining and testing global intercompany initiatives, system enhancement projects, as well as providing support to countries’ Intercompany related projects, like adopting e-invoicing and transitioning from SAP HANA to SAP Cloud ERP system.
Analyze reports ensuring accurate transfer pricing, proposing adjustments as needed
Direct the integration of acquired companies or joint ventures into the intercompany contract structure and into the SAP accounting system to ensure transactions are properly recorded & supported as well as eliminated in consolidation
Provide accurate and timely financial information to enable leadership to make key business decisions
Drive in-depth analysis of intercompany financial data to identify trends, anomalies, and potential risks, and present actionable insights to leadership.
Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of global tax intercompany and transfer pricing initiatives. Propose and enhance existing processes with a focus on automation, efficiency, and risk mitigation.
Participate in or lead knowledge-sharing sessions to continuously improve intercompany expertise
