Job Description:

You will serve as a ENERGY PROJECT MANAGER in the ENERGY MANAGEMENT DIVISION, PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTORATE of NAVAL FACILITIES SYSTEMS ENGINEERING COMMAND, PACIFIC.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following 1. Developing projects using energy-efficient lighting technologies; 2. Implementing and assessing energy-saving initiatives; 3. Evaluating facility maintenance and upgrades related to energy management; and 4. Using computers and software (e.g., spreadsheets, word processing) to manage energy project data. You will develop complex energy and water conservation projects requiring multi~engineering discipline skills and experience with broad general guidelines and minimal oversight.
You will serve as an Energy Manager for the NAVFAC PAC Energy Program, providing expertise in energy efficiency, conservation, and engineering for projects involving complex mechanical and electrical systems.
You will identify, develop, and design traditional and renewable energy projects involving complex mechanical and electrical systems to reduce energy use and costs.
You will network and collaborate with energy counterparts across military, federal, state and local governments, and public utilities such as Hawaiian Electric Company (HECO), Guam Power Authority, Board of Water Supply, and Guam Water Authority.
You will develop, maintain, and enhance an Energy Awareness (EA) program within the NAVFAC PAC to educate and inform commands on energy-related issues and data, with the goal of achieving energy and cost savings.
