Job Description:
You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Financial Offices of NAVY MUNITIONS COMMAND, CONUS WEST DIV. The Secretary of Defense has ordered a department-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the DoD hiring freeze. Offers of employment related to this vacancy announcement will not be executed until the position has an approved exemption.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing and applying financial management data to support financial operations of an organization to include auditing financial records for compliance with internal controls. You will review, coordinate, and submit data calls.
You will establish and implement timely corrective action plans as required.
You will coordinate, review and submit all Key Supporting Documents for financial audit samples.
You will develop and conduct internal reviews and sustainment sample testing.
You will coordinate and ensure all month-end and year-end financial close tasks are completed by due date.
You will serve as the primary liaison for financial system transition such as SABRS and CFMS.
You will prepare Certified Obligation exhibits at the end of fiscal year close.
