Job Description:

You will serve as a Secretary (OA) in the Executive Office of the Commanding Officer (CO) of CENTER FOR SERVICE SUPPORT.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Preparing a wide variety of recurring and non-recurring personal and executive correspondence, reports, and other documents with information obtained from the staff, files, and other sources; 2) Receiving telephone calls, greets visitors, and ascertains the nature of calls or visits, screening those that can be handled without supervisor guidance; 3) Developing, establishes, updates, and maintains office procedures and records or files of correspondence to ensure effective and efficient operation of the Executive Office; 4) Providing input for ordering adequate office supplies within the respective offices. Prepares, edits, routes for signature, scans and files all completed CSS directives. You will prepare letters and endorsements IAW applicable instructions, policies, ensuring sentence structure, format, grammar, and spelling are correct.
You will carry out day to day work independently and carry out successive steps to handle problems and deviations IAW applicable instructions, policies, and accepted practices.
You will perform a variety of administrative support duties such as making travel arrangements, scheduling transportation and lodging and preparing itineraries when trip is multi-fold.
