About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Turtle Cove on Bellows Air Station, Hawaii.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Applicant must be able to operate a cash register, make change accurately and prepare routine reports requiring ability to solve simple arithmetic programs or complete training within 6 months. Must be able to work on a computer. Must have cash handling experience. Skills in operating a computer, using Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Excel) are desirable. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with inquiries (NACI).
Receives, stores, and issues a wide variety of recreational supplies and equipment. Tags, inventories, restocks, resale merchandise as needed. Reports stores, and resale issues items a that wide may variety be of damaged recreational or low on supplies stock and to supervisor. equipment. Ensures that items are clean and serviceable when returned. Makes repairs as necessary and reports unserviceable items to supervisor. Computes and collects service fees. Takes daily inventory of equipment and reports missing equipment to supervisor. Makes reservation for Information Ticket and tours and accurately coordinates reservations with vendors. Makes reservations for Adventure programs and ensures to report any changes to the schedule, to the customers. Relays information to grounds personnel to coordinate location, time of rentals to be delivered. Answers correspondence regarding equipment, tickets, programs, and other inquiries. Makes reservations for contract vendors and ensures proper coordination of availability. Checks out/in all rentals, verifies charges and collects fees. Ensures charges for late fees, lost feest are adjusted. Closes out cash register using Rec Trac System at the end of each shift, accounts for all cash received and disbursed, and prepare daily cashier's reports. Maintains indoor and outdoor recreation areas to include and limited to sweeping, mopping, windows, rubbish, dusting, sorting, and filing in a clean and orderly manner. Ensures that all equipment is cleans and stored neatly. Monitors, collects feess for mini golf and driving rang eactivities. Performs other duties as assigned. Position is a position of trust.
