Job Description:
You will serve as a Supervisory General Engineer (Project Engineering Branch Manager) in the Ocean Engineering Department of the Test and Planning Division at PSNS and IMF.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional engineer planning, certifying technical products, or integrating project management principles in support of Ocean Engineering and ship maintenance and overhaul. You will plan, organize, and direct the activities of the Ocean Engineering Project Engineering Branch.
You will select or recommend selections of candidates for vacancies, promotions, details, and reassignment in consideration of skills, qualifications, and mission requirements.
You will possess a broad understanding of multiple engineering disciplines related to submarine maintenance (e.g. mechanical, electrical, structural).
You will direct training and development for a diverse group of assigned personnel.
