Job Description:
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Program Executive Office Unmanned and Small Combatants of PEO UNMANNED AND SMALL COMBATANTS.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the pay band NH-03 (GS-13 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Leading financial management analysis functions (e.g. creating financial management plans, directing financial program reviews, or developing high level budget summaries) to ensure the timely and accurate execution of program funds for an organization. You will serve as the Lead Business Financial Manager and is overall responsible for the execution of all aspects of their program financial management portfolio.
You will develop internal guidance and processes in relation to the execution of financial resources.
You will utilize the DoD 5000 and other regulations to govern the DoD acquisition process as applied to assigned acquisition programs.
You will review execution documents/reports using available financial management systems.
You will oversee execution of documents and reports and check for accuracy and consistency of data.
You will prepare briefs for senior managers on program execution and provide recommendations to correct program variances or problem areas.
You will prepare or review responses to external audits, e.g., FMB, GAO, etc., which involve financial management policy and procedure.
You will direct and/or perform continuing program execution review, analysis, and appraisal of the major operating and support programs within the organization.
You will coordinate the development and reporting of cost/performance information in support of mission tasks for the organization.
You will promulgate approved financial management policies within the organization based on DON policy and develop implementing procedures.
You will conduct management evaluation of issues of financial consequence raised in audit reports, budget reviews, etc. and recommend alternatives for corrective action.
