Job Description:
You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST (Executive Officer) of AEGIS BMD.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (NH-03) pay band (or GS-13 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Leading programmatic and technical efforts to identify problem areas and support operations for an Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense program. You will participate in an oversight capacity with Directors and Deputy Directors to ensure program status and on-going activities remain aligned with projections and plans.
You will keep informed of all facets of projects and programs, provide situational awareness to executive staff, identify conflicts and potential problem areas and recommend corrective action.
You will establish, modify, and apply program/project management guidelines and strategies for use by managers.
You will monitor the technical activities of the Program Offices to ensure both long and short range goals are met within manpower and fiscal resources.
You will consolidate programmatic information and present or ensure accurate presentation at high visibility internal and external meetings, conferences and events.
You will work with Directorates to develop recommendations on schedule, identify associated risks, and determine resources required.
