You will serve as a MANAGER in the Special Warfare & Expeditionary Systems Department (JX), Maneuver Surveil & Engage Systems Division (JXW), Integrated Counter Unmanned Systems Branch (JXWQ) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. You will serve as a MANAGER in the Special Warfare & Expeditionary Systems Department (JX), Maneuver Surveil & Engage Systems Division (JWX), Multi-Sensors Surveillance Systems Branch (JXWR) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-04 (GS-12/13 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional engineer or scientist providing technical oversight and guidance on the design, development, and testing of engineering or scientific projects ensuring adherence to resource requirements (e.g., schedule, milestones, and deliverables) for the improved efficiency and effectiveness of strategic warfare system programs. You will be responsible for the development of the workforce, effective execution of workload consistent with organizational initiatives and objectives, and for providing outstanding support and service to assigned customers.
You will plan, distribute, coordinate, and monitor work assignments of subordinates; evaluate work performance and provide feedback on their performance and ensure that employees are appropriately selected, utilized, and developed.
You will further organizational programs and initiatives by coordinating and integrating work that involves distinct areas of responsibility and that require varying skills, knowledge, and abilities to execute the mission.
You will identify solutions and provide guidance and advice to subordinates and to other supervisors and managers.
You will formulate objectives and implement plans consistent with long-term interests of the organization in a global environment taking into consideration the environment, resources, capabilities, constraints, and organizational goals.
You will develop and implement a long and short-term planning for required funding, human resources, facilities, and equipment.
You will develop and implement the organization's project and programmatic policies and procedures and determine criteria for assessing effectiveness.
