Job Description:

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY TECHNICIAN (Branch Manager) in the EOD Technology Assessment Branch (W43), Battle Lab Division (W4), Warfighter Defense & Systems Integration Department (W) of NAVSURFWARCEN IH DIV. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-05 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-13 and GS-14.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11 and GS-12 equivalency) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: applying technical engineering principles and methodologies to lead demonstrations, assessments, or the testing and evaluation of explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) equipment to identify and develop solutions for operational readiness. You will manage the work of multi-disciplinary administrative, technical, and professional staff engaged in the evaluation of explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) equipment to address capability gaps within the fleet.
You will be responsible for overseeing evaluation activities, ensuring that quality work products with appropriate levels of technical rigor are developed by branch employees and are delivered to the customer on schedule and within budget.
You will be involved in employee selection, career development, succession planning, disciplinary actions, evaluating performance, portfolio management, workload leveling, and business development.
You will be responsible for coordination and collaboration with current and potential future stakeholders.
You will provide technical assistance and demonstration, assessment, and test and evaluation subject matter expertise to operational EOD personnel.
You will coordinate technical guidance and collaborative work opportunities for other DoD agencies, inter-agency partners and industry partners with mutual areas of interest and expertise.
