Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of a(n) MAINTENANCE SCHEDULER ~ without more than normal supervision. WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is performed both inside and outside in all types of weather (wind, rain, extreme temperatures, etc.) with exposure to a variety of unpleasant conditions including fumes, sewers, dirt, dust, and excessive noise with exposure to a variety of hazards to conduct work inspections.
Serve as Maintenance Scheduler, and as such, schedule major jobs, standing operations orders, training, inspections and all other work requiring scheduling for Facility Management Division Mechanical, Electrical or Structural Shops.
Insure plans, blueprints, material, and tools are available and that needed stock is obtained from supply actions.
Utilize automated work management systems and office automation systems to schedule work among the various facilities maintenance shops.
Analyzes material requirements of original estimates in order to determine the quantity and quality of material required.
Monitors work progress through visits to work sites and daily work progress reports.
Maintains required schedules and logs and coordinates actions to identify projected maintenance requirements.
Provides information to supervisor on status and progress of work, causes of delays, and overall works operations and problems
