Job Description:
You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the Spectrum Warfare Department (WX), Platform Protection & CM Technologies Division (WXR), Division Operations Branch (WXRL) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $137,000).
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 grade equivalency) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing and evaluating project requirements to identify shortcomings, recommend solutions, and ensure the quality of products and services for the efficiency of a program. You will serve as the Division Quality Focal Point for the Platform Protection and Countermeasures Technologies Division.
You will be considered part of the Division Management team and will be responsible for ensuring consistent application of quality standards and driving continuous improvement across Division operations.
You will serve as the primary contact for the Crane Management System (CMS) and a key liaison for all quality-related matters, effectively communicating policies.
You will coordinate corrective and preventative actions, including conducting risk assessments and robust root cause analysis.
You will manage the configuration of the Integrated Production Data Management (iPDM) system and ensure data integrity and advise on documentation standards.
You will review plans, approve data packages, perform visual and dimensional inspections to contractual specifications, completion of Product Quality Deficiency Reports and Out-of-Tolerance Notices.
You will lead, develop, and maintain Division Calibration, Hazardous Material (HAZMAT), and Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) control programs.
You will assist and coordinate internal and Command-level ISO audits and serves as the Division Operating Material and Supplies (OM and S) Lead.
